@rnkim25644 years agoI eat WAY more veggies and lettuces/salad than most people I know and I'm usually in the ballpark of 10-30G the WHOLE DAY as I eat a healthy keto diet...not 30+ grams per meal. I do not consider carbs that important and most diabetics wouldn't need to be MANAGED if they cut down on all those carbs, they may even be able to not diabetic any longer and get off their meds! ...but here we are, this is the reason diabetes is MANAGED instead of curing insulin resistance ...16

@godisgr84662 years agoEverything in moderation, i mean EVERYTHING; carbs, protein, fat, etc etc. But in most cases cravings for carbs and sugars and very common and less important.

@lilianflynn1984 years agoI manage my diabetes on low carbs of less than what is recommended on here ! I do my fasting blood glucose without fail EVERY MORNING and it sets my dietary menu for the day ...!! The body can always find it's own sugar!! And does not need extra sugar added to diets I noticed when I indulge like in the form of puddings I suffer with a high early morning blood glucose! So it's all about what we put in our bodies regarding the control of type 2 diabetes! Low carbs intermittent fasting ...Dr Jason Fung and Dr Sten Erkberg on Adaptive Physiology ...that's how I managed my type 2 diabetes ...13

@felixdakat97588 months agoThink about it ! If the standard American diet is correct, why have the diabetic and heart attack rates increase through time since the inception of it????? The excess of sugar/ glucose in the food we eat are what destroying our health. Solution is, eat minimal carbs, salads if you must have greens , but the majority of your fuel will come from animal fats and proteins. Become “fat adapted” instead of “carb adapted. You’ll thank me later. 😂 ...
