The Works - Plastic Blocks RC Crosssfire Car - Part 1

It's my grandson's 6th birthday this Sunday so I have been looking for a present. I know he likes to make things with Lego so when I saw this kit I thought it would suit him fine. The first box I picked up in the shop had already been opened so I checked the contents and one piece was missing so I negotiated a cheaper price than the already reduced sale price. Tonight I thought I would check it actually works. In Part #2 I assemble it. This kit is mine, I bought another unopened box for him and will wrap it up later. It does not tell you what frequency the RC is so I tried it with my 27Mhz, 40Mhz and 49Mhz transmitters and it didn't respond to any of them but it works fine with the one it came with even though I consider the directions are all reversed. You will see in Part #2 that the instructions start well but have a complete section out of order which is a shame, but I was still able to complete the build quite easily and I think my grandson will manage it too.
