New Acquisition on the Farm

In this video you can see us finishing our new bunker silo. We hired a company to build it for us. We had to grind the concrete walls and backfill the soil. We also dug some some more dirt and fill it with gravel, where we will pour some more concrete floor. The silo is 20 m x 4,3 m x 2,5 m, we built it to further eliminate the need for making silage bales. Thanks for watching! We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M. We work around 20 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn. We also have 7 hectares of forest.
